In June 2011, Melbourne-based outfit Diafrix, riding high on the local success of their single "Simple Man" with Daniel Merriweather and massive tours alongside Bruno Mars and Tinie Tempah, headed to Europe for a string of shows and recording dates, centred around their debut appearance at UK's legendary Glastonbury festival.
Diafrix were accompanied by super-talented videographer Claudia Sangiorgi Dalimore across their entire European trip, which resulted in an amazingly shot six-part documentation of their time in Rome, London, Glastonbury, Bristol, Nice, Paris and Monaco. These episodes are not only a glimpse into life on the road for Diafrix, but also an intriguing look into the interesting, beautiful inhabitants of the cities themselves and the culture that Diafrix immerse themselves in.
In association with Illusive and Drawing Board, Diafrix and Claudia will be revealing a new chapter in Diafrix's European Video Project each week over a six week period, beginning with the guerrilla-style video for their guerrilla-style take on Wretch 32's "Unorthodox" single. Check back each week and watch as Diafrix move from city to city in a candid, hilarious, heartwarming and often remarkable glimpse of life on tour.
